Reminder for Durable Medical Equipment orders
As of May 1, 2026, CareOregon partnered with CareCentrix (CCX) to manage certain durable medical equipment (DME) services for CareOregon/Health Share CCO, Jackson Care Connect CCO, Columbia Pacific CCO, and CareOregon Advantage members.
This change does not apply to DME supplied by a hospital or facility during an emergency department visit, inpatient stay, or at discharge, when the equipment is part of the facility encounter.
In addition, CareOregon has adopted Parachute Health, a digital point-of-care platform, for submitting certain DME orders for our members.
What you need to know:
- Ordering providers should submit DME orders for the categories listed on the following page via Parachute Health. Categories not included below should continue to be submitted through existing pathways.
- Providers who do not already use Parachute Health will need to create an account at parachutehealth.com.
- Parachute Health will provide training on how to use the platform and will be available to answer questions.
Where to go for questions:
You can schedule a Parachute Health training at this link: meetings.hubspot.com/brian-osorio/careoregon. Organizations can submit a roster to create accounts for multiple providers or learn more about electronic medical records integration by emailing Brian Osorio at brian.osorio@parachutehealth.com for the template. For further questions, reach out to Parachute Health at support@parachutehealth.com.
