CareOregon Advantage CareCard

The CareOregon Advantage CareCard is a unique benefit that allows you to buy thousands of eligible items using a pre-loaded debit card. These are items you'd normally pay for out of your own pocket, such as cold and flu care, allergy medicine, pain relief and more. You can also get additional reward funds loaded onto your CareCard when you complete healthy activities, like an annual wellness visit or completing certain health screenings. And if you have a qualifying chronic health condition, you may also get even more funds.

How do I get my card? Once you become a member, we will send you a card in the mail with money pre-loaded on it. Every month or quarter (three months), more money will automatically be added to the same card. Any money left on your card at the end of each month/quarter will expire. Rewards for completing healthy activities do carry over from month to month, but expire on December 31.

How much money is on the card? 
For all members: In 2026, the amount is $15.50 per month ($186 per year). For 2027, the amount is $70 every quarter ($280 per year). You can use these funds to purchase eligible over-the-counter health items at participating locations.

For qualifying members:  If you have a qualifying chronic health condition, you can also get extra funds to spend on healthy foods through special supplemental benefits for the chronically ill (SSBCI).^† In 2026, the amount is $50 per month ($600 per year). How do I find a searchable list of eligible health items and healthy foods? Download the OTC Network App or visit mybenefitscenter.com. There you can search for items by product category, manufacturer and product name.
