Important Notice about Medicare Sequestration - IMPLEMENTATION DELAYED

The implementation of this has been delayed from June 1, with no ETA for a new date. We will keep you posted as to when this will take place.

In early 2013, CMS announced across the board sequestration reductions of 2% in Medicare fee-for-service payments to physicians, hospital and other healthcare providers. CareOregon decided not the pass these reductions along to our delivery system for the past 2 years. For claims processed on or after June 1, 2015, CareOregon will begin applying a 2% Medicare sequestration to all providers.
