Hospital-Based Providers Submitting Claims to CareOregon
CareOregon is reconciling its provider database to ensure practitioners who are considered hospital-based are current in our system. We have updated our hospital-based credentialing notification form, and are requiring that one be completed for each hospital-based practitioner by October 1, 2017.
If you represent a contracted hospital system that sends monthly provider rosters to CareOregon, please write us at providerupdates@careoregon.org to ensure your organization is excluded from this requirement. Otherwise, practitioners for whom we do not have a completed hospital-based form on file will revert to non-participating reimbursement rates on 10/1/2017.
Claims will NOT be retroactively reprocessed at participating rates if the forms are received late, so please be sure to submit these forms or reach out to CareOregon for clarification by October 1st.
